Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and how you may correct or remove it.

Updated 20 May 2026

Our position

The House of Ameyaa treats client information with the same care as it treats the pieces themselves. We collect little, share less, and retain only what is necessary to serve you well. This page sets out, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how you may correct or remove it.

This policy applies to every interaction with us — the website, a video call, a visit to the atelier, an enquiry by email or telephone.

What we collect

Information you give us

Your name, contact details, country, the occasion or wearer mentioned in your brief, any notes you share with your advisor, and the payment details required to process an order.

Information we observe

Standard website data — pages visited, broad geographic region, device and browser type — used only to keep the site working and to understand which parts of the archive are of interest.

What we do not collect

We do not buy data from third parties. We do not run advertising trackers on this site. We do not place cookies that follow you to other sites.

How we use it

Who sees it

Your information is seen only by the small number of advisors and atelier staff who need it to serve you. We use a small number of carefully chosen service providers — for example, our courier, our payment processor, our email host — who are contractually held to confidentiality at least equal to our own. We do not sell, rent or share your details with any other party for any reason.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is retained for two years from the last contact. Order and commission records are retained for seven years, as required by Indian tax law. Marketing consent is retained until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Write to ameyaimpex@outlook.com from the email on file. We respond within fifteen working days.

Security

Personal data is held in encrypted form on servers within India and the European Union. Payment details are tokenised and never stored by us; they pass directly to our payment processor. Internally, access to client records is logged and limited by role.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and date the change at the top. Material changes will be notified by email to clients on file.
